Vinous Josh Raynolds - 01 Jan 17
(malolactic fermentation and 16 months of aging in new French oak barrels) Deep ruby. A complex, highly perfumed bouquet evokes ripe dark berries, sandalwood, rose pastille, vanilla and woodsmoke. Smooth, seamless and alluringly sweet cherry and blackberry flavors caress the palate and become more lively as the wine opens up. Shows excellent clarity and no rough edges, and finishes with a strong echo of candied flowers and sweet dark fruit.
